Henry " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Earl S. Lee, 79, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Allen Breaux officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native and lifelong resident of Henry, Mr. Lee died at 3:50PM on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his residence. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He also worked in the oilfield as a roustabout, and then he was the head custodian at the Henry School where he worked for 18 years before retiring. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a kind and gentle person. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred Broussard Lee of Henry; two sons, Keith Lee and his wife Cindy of Youngsville and Craig Lee and his wife Angela of Henry; five grandchildren, Derek Lee and his wife Laurie, Bryan Lee, Steven Lee, Tiffany L. Dugas and her husband Ronald Dugas, Jr., and Jared Lee; and two great grandchildren, Averi Dugas and Addison Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Thomas and Blanche Broussard Lee. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Lee, Bryan Lee, Steven Lee, Jared Lee, Ronald Dugas, Jr., and Kirk Broussard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the hospice staff for being so kind and helpful; Dr. Cole and his staff at Louisiana Oncology; and Barbara Gayneaux.
