Erath " Funeral Services for Mrs. Burke Saucier the former Barbara Landry, 65, will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Erath with. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 12:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. A native of New Iberia and a resident of Erath Mrs. Saucier died at 12:15AM on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Barbara and her husband were the owners of Burkes Detailing Shop. She is survived by her two sons, Burke James Saucier, III and his wife Sandy of Erath and Clint M. Saucier and his wife Claire of Erath; four brothers, Andrew Landry, Jesse Landry, Willis Landry, and Albert C. Landry, Jr.; five sisters, Ruby Louviere, Lucille Landry, Shirley Myers, Delores Landry, and Janelle Romero; four grandchildren, Shayd Saucier, Burke BJ Saucier, IV., Raven Saucier, and Jolie Saucier; and a great grandchild, Jax Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burke James Saucier, Jr.; her parents, Chester Landry, Sr. and Elgie Hebert Landry; three brothers, Steve Landry, Isaac Landry, and Buck Landry; and one sister, Grace LeBlanc. Serving as pallbearers will be Burke James Saucier, III, Clint Saucier, Shayd Saucier, BJ Saucier, IV, Michael Louviere, and Tony LeBlanc. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Carl Landry and Albert C. Landry, Jr. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
