Meaux " A Memorial Service for Mr. Johnny Lege, 68, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery With Deacon William Vincent officiating. The family will begin gathering at 10:30AM. The Interment will follow the services. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Meaux Mr. Lege died at 6:50PM on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was a 32nd degree Mason and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Duhon Lege of Meaux; two sons, Shawn Lege and his wife Jan of Destrehan and Dr. Lance Lege of Meaux; two grandchildren, Olivia Lege and Logan Lege; and a sister, Sue Neveaux and her husband Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minus and Neoma Mickey Leblanc Lege. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donation be made to the Leukemia Society at www.lls.org in Mr. Leges name. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
