Bernadette Broussard Morris

Visitation will be on Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Thursday November 8, 2012 from 8:00 PM until services, a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 6:00 PM.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Lydia, Mrs. Morris died Monday November 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM in a New Iberia Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Maureen M. Rogers and her husband Claude of Lydia; grandchildren, Michelle Morris and her fiancee Brett Babineaux of New Iberia, Anne Thibodeaux and her husband Rusty of Lydia, Christopher Morris and companion Dawn Hebert of Lydia, Rusty Rogers of Lydia; Great Grandchildren, Brett Thibodeaux of Lydia, Travis Thibodeaux of Lydia, Mykenzie Doumit Rogers of Lafayette, Daughter-in-law Carmen Morris of Lydia; Brothers, Albert Broussard, Sr. of New Iberia, Riverst Broussard, Jr. of Anniston, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morris, parents, Riverst and Zolide Dartez Broussard, Sr., Son, Michael John Morris, daughter, Carole Ann Morris, Sisters, Florence Leleux, Marie White, Evelyn Jolet, brothers, Milton Broussard and Hilton Broussard.

Pallbearers will be, Norbert Broussard, Tim Jolet, Fran Broussard, Jr., Christopher Morris, Brett Thibodeaux and Travis Thibodeaux.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Brett Babineaux, Rusty Rogers, Claude Rogers, James White, Terry Duval, Kevin Duval, Clara Nita Landry, Audry Hicks, Preston Crochet, Faye Crochet, Carolyn Broussard, Sybil Davis, Elaine Landry, Kevin Leleux, Chance Leleux, Rosalind Falterman, Karen Ann LeBlanc and Jean Broussard. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. James Walker & Staff, and Dr. Carl Ditch.
