Erath " Funeral Services for Mr. Etienne Bernard Hidalgo, 85, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery. A native of Milton and a resident of Erath Mr. Etienne died at 4:30PM on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Maison du Monde Living Center. He proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by two sons, Keith Hidalgo and his wife Cassey of Erath and Chad Hidalgo of Lafayette; four daughters, Debbie Hidalgo and her companion Ricky Meche of Rayne, Wendy H. LeBlanc and her husband Donnie of Erath, Darlene H. Wright and her husband Randy of Pineland, TX, and Kathy H. LeBlanc and her husband Kevin of Abbeville; a brother, Walter Hidalgo, Sr.; a sister, Betty Hidalgo; a sister in law, Sable Hidalgo; eight grandchildren, Tess Hebert, Kimberly Bernard, Brittany Conn, Blake Wright, Derek Hidalgo, Kristopher LeBlanc, Danielle Hidalgo, and Laura Hidalgo; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent, Willie and Rosa Robeaux Hidalgo; and two brothers, Luke Hidalgo and J.B. Beverly Hidalgo. Serving as pallbearers will be member of his family David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
