Lilly Romero Viator

October 5, 1936 — February 15, 2013

New Iberia- a Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Lucius Viator, the former Lilly Marie Romero, age 76, on Monday February 18, 2013 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Father Bill Gearheard to serve as the Celebrant. Readers will be Jacqueline Bourque and Michelle Bourque. Giftbearers will be Brittany Marceaux and Taylor Boyance. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will begin on Sunday February 17, 2013 at 2:00pm until 10:00pm with a recitation of the rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00am until funeral time.

A native of Erath and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Viator passed away on Friday February 15, 2013 at 12:02pm at her residence in New Iberia. Although she was a homemaker she enjoyed working by helping people and loved taking care of her grand children.

Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Marceaux and husband Jaimes of New Iberia, Connie Bourque and husband Johnny of New Iberia; grandchildren, Michelle Bourque of New Iberia, Brandon John Bourque and wife Jacqueline of Baton Rouge, Brittany, Jaret, and Ryan Marceaux all of New Iberia; great grandchildren, Taylor Boyance of New Iberia, Madison Olivier of New Iberia, Lilly Bourque of Baton Rouge; brothers, Eno and Enole Romero both of Erath.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius Alpha Viator; parents, Estavol and Eva Segura Romero; brothers, Edward, Ulysse and Ellis Romero; sisters, Elize Gary, Adite Romero, Solonge Romero.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brandon Bourque, Johnny Bourque, Jaimes Marceaux, Darryl Boudreaux, Gilbert Pellerin, and Perry Pellerin.
