Florence "Flo" Romero

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Telly J. Romero, the former, Florence Flo LeBlanc, age 35, Friday January 18, 2013 at 10:30AM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Thursday January 17, 2013 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday January 18, 2013 from 8:00AM until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Romero died Monday January 14, 2013 at her residence. Flos hobbies included crocheting and planting and growing flowers. She loved spending time with her canine companion Casper and loved being with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Telly J. Romero of New Iberia; parents, Lawrence J. LeBlanc and Manilla Laviolette LeBlanc, both of New Iberia; mother and father-in-law, Beulah and Henry Romero of Coteau; sister, Ann LeBlanc Moore and husband Charles and brother, Douglas LeBlanc and wife Cindy, all of New Iberia; brother-in-laws, Danny Romero of Lafayette and Stoney Romero and wife Suzzette of Lydia; godchild, Aaiken Dugan of New Iberia; nephew, Douglas Lopez, Trent Romero and wife Heidi and Josh Hebert and wife Stormy, step-nieces and step-nephew, Mandy, Felicia and Daniel.

She was preceded in death by her brother Larry LeBlanc.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
