Mary Romero Louviere Thibodeaux

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mary Romero Louviere Thibodeaux, age 90, Saturday January 19, 2013 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoelum. Visitation will begin Friday January 18, 2013 from 1:00PM until 9:00PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Saturday January 19, 2013 from 8:00AM until service time.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Thibodeaux died Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 8:00PM at a local nursing home. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 1982, American Legion Post 335, Woodmen of the World and the French Music Association. Her hobbies included trips to the casino, traveling with family and friends,dancing and playing cards especially bourr.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Harvey and husband Fred of Broussard; Ted John Louviere, Brenda Langlinais and husband James and Darrell Louviere and wife Lisa; all of New Iberia; her former husband, Wallace Thibodeaux of New Iberia; daughter-in-law, Marjorie B. Louviere of New Iberia; grandchildren, Nelson Buddy Louviere, Carla Pratt, Donna Gary, Donny and Craig Drago, Tonya Sparkman, Kristi and Justin Louviere, Dr. Brandon Langlinais, Kevin Langlinais, Andrea Billeaud, Trent Louviere, Tyra Meche, Melanie Robillard, Becki Meaux, Jessica Peltier, Renee Owens and Matthew Thibodaux, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Envile J. Louviere, her sons, Nelson J. Louviere, Danny James Louviere, her parents, Clovis and Marie Bouillion Romero, her great-grandchild, Calli Pratt, sisters, Enite and Lovinia Viator and brothers, Clomire, Deoda and Richard Romero.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nelson Buddy Louviere, Darrell Louviere, Donny Drago, Justin and Trent Louviere and Kevin Langlinais.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted J. Louviere, Fred Harvey and James Langlinais.
