New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. J.C. Charpentier, the former, Cecile Hebert, age 76, on Friday December 21, 2012 at 2:30PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Friday December 21, 2012 from 11:00AM until service time with recitation of the Rosary at 12:30PM.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Charpentier died Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 10:40AM at her residence. She enjoyed trips to the casino and her most cherished times were those spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, J.C. Charpentier of New Iberia; daughter, Kathleen Glasgow and husband Greg of Broussard; son, Michael Charpentier and wife Suzette of New Iberia; daughters, Annette Cuneo and husband Mark of Lafayette; Melanie Brown and Prudence Charpentier, both of New Iberia; grandchildren, Quintin, Zachary and Joshua Brown, Mac and Matthew Cuneo, Jacob, Jolie and Jude Charpentier; sisters, Lorena Verret of Jeanerette; Clelie Moss and Lillie VanBrocklin, both of New Iberia; brother, Howard Hebert, Jr. of Patoutville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Charpentier was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Hebert, Sr. and Aline Hebert.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Charpentier, Greg Glasgow, Quintin and Zachary Brown, Mac Cuneo and nephew, Jacques Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Cuneo, Joshua Brown, Matthew Cuneo, Jacob, Jolie and Jude Charpentier.
