Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Angerlas Joseph Frederick, Jr., 80, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, LA with Rev. Bill Melancon as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville (337)893-3777, 2600 Charity Street, Abbeville, LA 70510 on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Interment will follow church services at Landry Cemetery.

A native of Abbeville, LA and a longtime resident of Erath, Mr. Frederick passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his home in Erath.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel P. Frederick of Erath, LA; children, Rowena Norwood and her husband, Sammy of Lavca, AL, Ashley Frederick, Horace Frederick and his wife, Lisa, Keith Frederick and his wife Cora, Dwain Frederick and his wife, Cheryn, Yvette Moore and her husband Kenny and Rebecca Frederick and her companion, Heidi all of Erath, LA; eighteen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angerlas Joseph Frederick, Sr. and Anna Fletcher Frederick; brother, Lloyd Frederick and one grandson, Cliff Norwood.

Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Frederick, Brad Frederick, Ethan Moore, Collin Frederick, Bart Baudoin and Jamie Richard.

Honorary pallbearer will be Todd Turner.
