Robbie Robertson Steno

A native of Franklin, LA; and lifetime resident of Opelousas, LA area. Mrs. Robbie Steno passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 12:15am at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, LA.

Mrs. Steno was a surrogate mother to many, loved people and was a foster parent to many foster children.

Mrs. Steno is survived by her husband Donnie Steno of Port Barre; two sons Travis W. Moore and his wife Jeannie of Opelousas; Cameron W. Steno of Port Barre, LA. Two daughters Jody L. Bergeron and Tasha M. Nelans both of Port Barre, LA. One brother Donald W. Robertson and his wife Melody of Washington, LA; two sisters Darlene C. and Helena C. Robertson both of Port Barre, LA; and her Grandmother Lena L. Woodrow of Pearland,TX. Mrs.Steno was a proud grandmother of 11 Grandchildren and Great grandmother of 1 great grandchild.

Mrs. Steno was preceded in death by her parents James Owen Robertson Jr. of Bunkie, LA and Doris Mae Boudreaux of Franklin, LA; one daughter Stacey M. Jackson; two sons, Johnathan D. and Timothy W. Moore; three brothers James Owne Roberston III, Joseph B. and Berverly J. Robertson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Steno family and friends.
