Gerald Wayne Toups

April 11, 1949 — January 11, 2013

Abbeville- A Gathering of Remembrance to celebrate the life of Gerald Wayne Toups, 63, with his family and friends will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning at 9:00AM Monday, January 14, 2013 with culmination, the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00PM by Deacon Byron Soley. Interment will be at a later date. Mr. Toups passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Lafayette General Hospital.

He is survived by his children, Toby Toups and his wife Trisha of Abbeville, LA, Darrin Toups and his wife Hallie also of Abbeville, LA and Tara Domingue and her husband, Chris of Erath, LA; eight grandchildren, Braden Toups, Andrea Toups, Lauren Toups, Taylor Toups, Darrin Toups, Jr, Allison Toups, Alyssa Volkmann and McKenzie Toups; brother, James Toups and sister, Barbara T. White both of Cow Island, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Joseph Toups and Agnes Demet Toups; sisters, Jeanette Toups and Annie Hargrave ,as well as two sons, Cody Toups and Corey Toups.
