Jeanerette - Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. John Cemetery with Father Dismus Mauk officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the David Funeral Home in Jeanerette from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

She died on Monday, January 7, 2013 in Huntsville, AL. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Jeanerette and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She worked for Page and Jones Customs Brokers as an office manager for over 15 years before retiring. She was a resident of Huntsville for over 42 years.

She is survived by her husband, Whitney J. Blanchard, Jr. of Huntsville, AL; her son, Whitney John Blanchard, III of Baton Rouge; her brother, Ronald Charles Dato of Houston, TX and her grandchildren, Whitney John "Jake" Blanchard, IV and Scarlett Blanchard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Dallas Dato.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
