Deborah "Debbie" Strickland

September 17, 1948 — January 11, 2013

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Robert Strickland, the former Deborah Debbie Naquin, 64, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 10:00 AM until services.

A native of Weeks Island and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Strickland died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 10:40 AM in a New Iberia hospital. She was a manager at the Lydia Food Store. Aside from working, she was a selfless and giving person always taking care of other people especially her family.

She is survived by her children, Mary Beth S. Hazell and her husband Brad of New Iberia and Joshua Paul Strickland of Lafayette and her grandchildren, Adam Paul and Gabriel Paul Hazell both of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Strickland and her parents, Clarence P. and Geraldine Gerry Jolet Naquin.

Pallbearers will be Brad Hazell, Adam Paul Hazell, Joshua Boulanger, Peter Briggs, Cullen Bernard and Gabriel Paul Hazell.
