Hazel Guidroz

Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Hazel Jeanette Labit Guidroz, 75, will be held on Friday March 1, 2013 at 12:00PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, LA with Rev. Jason Mouton, Pastor at St Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville , LA as Celebrant. Entombment will follow church services in St. Anne Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Youngsville beginning at 8:00AM on Friday March 1, 2013, with a Rosary recited at 10:00AM until just prior to service time.

Mrs. Guidroz passed away on Monday February 25, 2013 at Pelican Point Nursing Home in Maurice, LA.

Mrs. Guidroz was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Hazel enjoyed dancing, bowling and traveling.

She is survived by her husband Charles Guidroz of New Iberia; her children and their spouses Kay and Kirby Larsen of Russellville Arkansas, Cathy and Skee Louviere of Franklin, James and Dawn Guidroz of Franklin, Christina and Alan Troy Soileau of Youngsville, and Rachael and Todd Martin of Youngsville; her grandchildren Nichole Taylor, Amanda Spring Thibodeaux, Canaan Newson, Levi Louviere, Breezy Louviere, Charlie Guidroz, Jackie Guidroz, Laci Soileau, Bailey Soileau, Coleen Martin, and Connor Martin:her eight great grandchildren; and two sisters Ardine Lowery, and Barbara Lamar both of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by parents, Wiltz Labit and Lucina Bonvillain Lagrange; and her brother Nelson Labit.

Serving as pallbearers will be Canaan Newsom, Levi Louviere, Charlie Guidroz, Bailey Soileau, Connor Martin, and Cameron Comeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Sterling Buck Labit and James Guidroz.

David Funeral Home of Youngsville 201 Lafayette St. Youngsville La. 70592 is in charge of arrangements.
