Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Paul Cranche, 68, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Entombment will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM. A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Cranche passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 9:53 PM in a Houston, TX hospital. Mr. Cranche built aluminum boats for many years and was a partner in Pan Ocean Energy Services. He loved deer hunting, the outdoors and his camp in the Basin. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Oatsie Hebert Cranche of Jeanerette; his son, Todd M. Cranche of New York, New York; his daughter, Debbie C. McKee of Baldwinsville, New York; his grandchildren, Matthew McKee and Mary Cate McKee both of Baldwinsville, New York; his brother, Ray Cranche of Jeanerette and his sister, Sandra Lopez of Jennings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Paul Cranche, Sr. and Catherine LeBourgeois Cranche and his grandson, Jack McKee. Pallbearers will be Todd Cranche, Matthew McKee, Ray Cranche, Earl Weber, Donald Parro and Lynn Chuggy Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Robicheaux, Alvin Simoneaux, Rob Bell, Paul Buteaux, Herb Breaux, Angelo Tamporello, Morris Weber and Mike McGowen. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette, 400 Provost St. (337) 276-5151 is in charge of arrangements.
