Lafayette - Funeral Services will be held for Richard Edward Greenley, 94, at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the David Funeral Home Chapel at Lafayette, with Pastor Todd Menard of Family Life Church of Lafayette will be officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 beginning at 5:00 PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Greenley, a veteran of WWII, was a native of Cairo Illinois and a resident of Lafayette, passed away Sunday March 24, 2013 at his residence. He is survived by his wife Nell Stanfill Greenley of Lafayette; two sons Rudy and his wife Susie Greenley of Atlanta Ga., and Mark Greenley of Youngsville; his daughter Jaci and her husband Ray Gaspard of Baton Rouge La.; four granddaughters Brandi Joy Allen, Sarah Greenley, Katherine Greenley, all of Atlanta Ga. And Erin Lyndsey Greenley of Ashville North Carolina; and one great grandson Alexander Gregory Mouton of Atlanta Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Myrtle Cavender Greenley.
