Abbeville-Funeral Services for Miss Iris Benoit, 87, will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday April 8, 2013 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 9:00 AM until time of Service. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. She was a native of Abbeville and worked for Bellsouth until her retirement. She died at Abbeville General Hospital at 2:50 AM on Friday, April 5, 2013. She is survived by her brother, Joseph D. Benoit and his wife, Lola from Zachary, La. and sister, Irene Benoit of Livermore, California. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Edolia Luquette Benoit; a brother Numa Benoit; and a sister Norma Fruge.
