Paul Calvin Mouton

August 12, 1942 — May 2, 2013

Abbeville " A Memorial Service for Paul Calvin Mouton, 70, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. The family will begin gathering at 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Kaplan Mr. Mouton died at 6:15AM at Abbeville General Hospital on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He proudly served his country in the US army and was known for his love for his family, hunting, and fishing. He also coached soccer for over 10 years with Cajun Youth Sports. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia Munoz Mouton a native of Chile and a resident of Kaplan; two sons, Ronnie Paul Mouton and his wife Shannon of Houma and Christopher Mouton of Delcambre; five daughters, Belinda Boudreaux and her husband Shayne of Delcambre, Margaret Pittman and her husband Kevin of Florida, Angela Mouton and her fiance Travis of Florida, Stephanie Mouton and her fiance Adam of Kaplan, and Bianca Mouton of Kaplan; four sisters, Priscilla Miguez and her husband Lester of Delcambre, Maxine Racca and her husband Harold of New Iberia , Marline Mouton of Lafayette, and Cindy Martin and her husband Timothy of Baton Rouge; a brother in law, Michael Delcambre of Delcambre; nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded death by his parents, Ora and Hazel Trahan Mouton. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
