Carla Faye Latiolais

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Carla Faye Latiolais, age 60, Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 6:00pm at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday May 14, 2013 from 2:00pm until service time. Interment will be at a later date.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Latiolais died Saturday May 11, 2013 at 11:00am at Consolota Nursing Home. Carla was a graduate of New Iberia High School Class of 1970; she was a talented band member who could play many instruments . She waspreviously employedwith Dauterive Hospital for 15 years as a ward clerk. She enjoyed gardening andspending time with family.Carlawas always the life of the party; she loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She is survived by her daughter, Eugenie Kathie Byrom and husband Justin of New Iberia, sisters, Cynthia Phillips and husband Anthony of New Iberia; Karen Phillips of Daytona, FL and Belle Marie Waren and husband Ronnie of New Iberia; her Godchild, Rodney Girard of New Iberia; nieces, Kif Latiolais of Lafayette; Maggie Baldridge and fiance Jim Mortensen of New Iberia and Mollie Phillips of Spring, TX; nephews, Casey Phillips and wife Tabitha of Daytona, FL; Chaswill Phillips and wife Cindy of Youngsville and Christopher Baldridge of New Iberia and 10 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Latiolais, Sr. and Isabelle Moss Latiolais and her brothers, Charles Latiolais II and William Moss Latiolais.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Girard, Chaswill Phillips, Justin Byrom, Ronnie Waren, Jim Mortensen and Christopher Baldridge.
