Marguerite Marion Macaione

Visitation will be on Monday, June 3, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 8:00 AM until services.

A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Marguerite passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 1:50 AM in a New Iberia nursing home.

She retired as a Librarian at the Iberia Parish Library. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. She was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister, Roselyn Butsy Boudreaux of Jeanerette and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Anita Barone Macaione and her siblings, Anna M. Romano, Clara M. Sedita, Frank Macaione, John Macaione, Pascal Macaione and Joseph Macaione.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Hebert, Keith Morris, Dr. Stephen Boudreaux, Diego Ortego, Steve Broussard, Marlin Buddy Boudreaux and Shane Milligan.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Consolata Nursing Home and Hospice of Acadiana for the care given to Marguerite.

The family would prefer memorials to Hospice of Acadiana at 2600 Johnston St. Suite 200 in Lafayette, LA 70503.
