Youngsville " A Gathering of family and friends will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, LA on Thursday June 6,2013 beginning at 10:00 AM for Mr. Daniel J. Dan Graham, age 71, who died on Saturday, June 1, 2013 after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in October 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Joseph and Ruth Schoepf Graham. He is survived by his loving devoted wife, Terry Graham, of twenty eight plus years who was also his very best friend; two daughters, Susan Johnson, her husband David and their four children, Brock, Payton, Dylan and Brewer Johnson from Gilbertsville, PA and Janice Ewing, her husband Jeff and their two children, Jayle and Cory Ewing all from Richmond, TX. Dan is also survived by one brother, Walter Graham from Wilmington, DE. Dan began working for Marathon Oil Company in 1975 and retired in November 1999. He then began his hobby job as a Joint Venture Auditor in the Oil and Gas Industry and these assignments took him too many locations both, domestically and internationally. He continued with these assignments until his death. He loved playing golf and greatly looked forward to being at Les Vieux Chene Golf Course on the week-ends with his regular golfing group. The friends he made with the golf course staff and with other golfers who shared the love of the game was a real sense of joy to Dan. The family wants to sincerely thank Dr. Patrick Sonnier and his nursing staff, Dr. Henry Kaufman and his nursing staff, Dr. J. Eugene Brierre and his staff, the nursing staff at Home Health, the wonderful nurses and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center that all provided Dan with such caring, personal support during his diagnosis and treatments and also Heart of Hospice and their entire staff. The family also wishes to thank the personnel at the Miles Perret Cancer Services for their support and guidance.
