Josephine "Toot" Breaux Faucheaux

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Henry Faucheaux, the former, Josephine Toot Breaux, age 82, Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday June 10, 2013 at 11:00am until 8:30pm with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 8:00am until service time.

Mrs. Faucheaux died peacefully in her native and hometown of New Iberia onThursday June 6, 2013 at 9:22pm. Toot was a devoted caretaker of her late husband Henry; her most cherished times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening, playing bingo, shopping and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen F. Castille of Lafayette; Geraldine F. Cook of New Orleans; Cyndi F. Provost and husband Kevin of New Iberia and Annette F. Boeckman and husband Paul of New Prague, MN; grandchildren, Kenneth Provost and wife Zoey of San Diego, CA; Christine P. Frug and husband Steven of New Iberia; Catherine P. Breaux and husband Marak of New Iberia; James, Bon and Eli Muelken, all of Minnesota and Kyle Castille of Lafayette; great grandchildren, Samuel and Annabeth Provost, Jackson Frug, Lillian Breaux and Adaline Frug, all of New Iberia; Kyla Yellowbank and Josiah and Garrett Burton, all of Minnesota.

Mrs. Faucheaux was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Faucheaux and her mother, Aline Breaux.

Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Provost, Steven and Christine P. Frug, Paul Boeckman, Samuel Provost, Kyle Castille and Melvin Derouen.
