Abbeville " A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Clifton J. Babineaux, Sr. the former Clara Robichaux, 75, at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. The family will begin gathering at David Funeral Home of Abbeville from 1:00PM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at a later date. A native of New Iberia and a resident of Houma Mrs. Babineaux died at 7:33PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her residence. She was a cafeteria worker at J. H. Williams and was known for her enjoyment of playing bingo; going to the casino,; and country music. She is survived by two grandsons, Ricky J. Babineaux, Jr. of Houma and Corey Babineaux, Sr. and his wife Jamie of Raceland; and three great grandchildren, Corey Babineaux, Jr., Austin Babineaux, and Dawson Babineaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton J. Babineaux; her son, Ricky J. Babineaux, Sr.; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
