Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Morvant Dugas, 78, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 11:00AM until 11:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of Erath Mrs. Dugas died at 4:40PM on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her residence. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by three sons, Julius Morvant, Sr. of Erath, Clifford J. Dugas of Erath, and Julius Morvant, Jr. of Erath; two daughters, Elta Wilson of Kaplan and Wande D. Melancon of Erath; two brothers, Authur Morvant, Jr. of Lafayette and BooBoo Demette of Kaplan; fifteen grandchildren; and thirty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee; her parents, Authur and Wilda Bourque Morvant; a daughter, Ledia Dugas, a son, Clinton Joseph Dugas, and a brother, Willis Demette.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clinton Melancon, Julius Morvant, Sr., Thadeus Hebert, Lee Cormier, Joshua Cormier, Dylon Dugas
