Joann Marie Breaux

Loreauville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Horace Tony Breaux, the former JoAnn Marie Aucoin, age 66, will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 2:00pm with Father Buddy Breaux serving as the Celebrant. Readers will be Cortni Dugas, godchild, Brandy Aucoin, and Stephanie Navarro. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 10, 2013 from 10:00am until service time. A recitation of the rosary will be at 11:00am.

A native of LaPlace, former resident of St. Martinville, and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Breaux passed away on Sunday July 7, 2013 at her residence at 2:48pm. She taught 1 ^st and 3 ^rd grade religion class for many years. Mrs. Breaux enjoyed going to the movies and going to the salon, visiting even when she was not there to get her hair done. She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Horace Tony Breaux of New Iberia; daughter, Michelle Breaux of New Iberia; father, Gustave Aucoin Jr. and stepmother Roxie of St. Martinville; 2 granddaughters, Chelsy Dugas Marceaux and husband Jace of Kaplan, Cortni Marie Dugas and significant other Tyler Bushinelle of New Iberia; 2 grandsons; special niece, Allison Broussard and husband Marcus of Loreauville; great grandchildren, Haidyn and Dax Marceaux both of Kaplan; sister, Cathy Lanclos of Loreauville; brothers, David Aucoin and wife Margaret of Van Cleve, Ms., Mark Aucoin of St. Martinville; godchildren, Brandy Aucoin of Broussard, and Sophie Aucoin Hebert and partner Michelle Hebert of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bruno Aucoin; son, Mitchel Breaux; brother, Gustave Aucoin III; and sister-in-law, Susan Aucoin.

Pallbearers will be David Aucoin, Mark Aucoin, Marcus Broussard, Dustin Aucoin, Casey Aucoin, and Tyler Bushinelle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Marceaux and Dwayne Dore.
