New Iberia " Memorial services will be conducted at a later date for Michael A. Edwards, 58, who passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 3:55 AM at his residence.

He was a native of Refugio, TX and a resident of New Iberia. Mr. Edwards worked in the construction industry and served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam Era.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Segura Edwards of New Iberia; his son, Andrew Edwards; his daughters, Alida Edwards and Robbie Heath; his step-daughter, Christy Migues; his granddaughters, Hailey Heath and Kinley Heath; his brothers, Robert John Edwards, James Edwards and Douglas Edwards and his sisters, Mary Lou Lasseigne, Carolyn Sue Alleman and Jo Ann Laxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Robbie Adkins Edwards; his son, Sam Edwards. and his sister, Sharon Elaine Edwards.
