New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Al Joseph Dore, the former Stella Marie Hebert, 80, on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 PM. A native of New Iberia, a resident of Lafayette and a former longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Dore passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00 AM in a Lafayette nursing home. She was employed at Abadallas Department Store for 38 years in Ladies Ready to Wear Department. She loved shopping and sports especially LSU. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Al Joseph Dore; her daughters, Carolyn Dore Marino and her husband Roger of Sunset and Denise Dore Monceaux and her husband Michael of Lake Charles; her brothers, Harold Hebert of Lafayette, Roland Hebert and Arvers Hebert both of Loreauville; her sisters, Nina Derouen, Janelle Justellian, Vivian Derouen and Beverly Louviere all of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Scott Dore of Republic MO, Michael Marino of Sunset, Brooke Clements of Houston, TX and Simone Clements of Lake Charles and her great grandchildren, Mason Marino, Kaitlyn Jefferson, Kymberlyn Jefferson, Alexandra Escobar, Isabella Escobar and Makaila Escobar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beulah Dartez Hebert and her sister Kinta DeSoto. Pallbearers will be Roger Marino, Michael Marino, Scott Dore, Michael Monceaux, Freddy Escobar and Kevin Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Hebert, Roland Hebert, Arvers Hebert and Dave Dore. The family would like to express their thanks to Heart of Hospice and Courtyard Manor Nursing Home.
