Funeral Services for Vincent Zhang, 7, will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, July 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Lafayette, (337) 233-1412, 1100 Lee Ave., Lafayette, LA 70501 with Pastor Steve Horn and Chinese Minister Queenie Lau officiating. Visitation will at First Baptist Church of Lafayette beginning at 1:00PM on Sunday and will continue until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the church service at Calvary Cemetery, 355 Teurlings Drive, Lafayette, LA 70501. Vincent passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Vincent and his parents are members of the First Baptist Church of Lafayette, LA. He was well known for his love of the memorization of Bible Scriptures and his sincere love of sharing these scriptures with the customers at the restaurant where his parents work. He also loved to play his piano, iPod games and singing. He recently passed the second grade with an A average as a student at St. John Elementary School in Franklin, LA. He also attended Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Lafayette, where he loved his Sunday School teachers and had a sincere desire to be and will forever be remembered as good student and child who loved to help others. His very special and precious smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him , loved him , and those of us whose lives he touched in so many different ways in just the brief time he was here among us. He is survived by his parents, Jianhang Zhang and Xiang Lin of Franklin, LA; sister, Sophia Zhang; brother, Leo Zhang; paternal grandfather, XinQuan Zhang; paternal grandmother, ChengJin Yang and maternal grandmother, Aihua Lin.
