Elmo Joseph Huntsberry

May 21, 1931 — July 12, 2013

1 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Our beloved Elmo Joseph Huntsberry was born on May 21, 1931 to the late Leon Huntsberry and Ella Mouton Huntsberry. He was reared in Abbeville and joined in with the Catholic faith at an early age. He was educated in Abbeville and worked as a farmer and later worked with the Louisiana Department of Transportation until he retired. He later met and married his wife of over 61 years, Annie V. Broussard, and to this union four children were born and reared with lots of love and affection. He was a friend to everyone. He loved life and loved to make his family and friends laugh. After a lengthy illness and brave battle fought, God in his infinite wisdom saw that he was getting weary, so he came and stood beside him and said, Come and Rest, Get your Heavenly reward. We accept Gods will and pause to reflect on the beautiful life of our beloved. He leaves to cherish many wonderful and loving memories his wife, Annie V.
