Gussie Hebert Decou

Funeral Services for Gussie MS. Pete Decou, 89, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 8:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Milton. Ms. Pete passed away on July 29, 2013 at Maison De Lafayette. She is survived by her daughter Margie Beridon Sanders of Erath; her two sons Ernest P. Decou of Channelview Texas, and John E. Decou of Milton; one sister Gertie Hebert of Judice; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loveless Decou; her parents Laodice and Urma Trahan Hebert; her brother Nazaire Hebert, her son-in-law Phillip Beridon; and her great grandchild Angel Belden. Serving as pallbearers will be David Decou, Ernie Sieber, Ryan Walker, Glen Belden E.J. Sieber, and Rocky Bernard. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Decou,Danny Pierson, Kirk Touchet. Ms. Petes family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Maison De Lafayette 700 wing; and the staff of Heart of Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family wish donation be made to Heart of Hospice 201 West Vermilion St. 70501.
