New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Robert Bobby Bourque, 54, on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Deacon Stephen Van Cleve officiating. Entombment will follow in Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 11:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 11:30 AM. A native and resident of New Iberia, Bobby passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 10:33 AM at his residence. He was a Safety Technician in the oil field industry for many years. He loved bowling, playing pool, motorcycles and the outdoors. Bobby was a person that would always give his time to help others. He is survived by his mother, Janice Hebert Bourque of Church Point; his sons, Jessie Bourque and his wife Nicole of New Iberia and Adam Dillon-Bourque of Loreauville; his daughter, Alexandra Dillon-Bourque of Loreauville; his brother, Eric Bourque of Duson; his sister, Karen Bourque Gemmer of Pittsburgh, PA and his former wife, Natalie Broussard of Loreauville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Adam Bourque; his son, Robert Robbie Bourque, Jr. and his first wife, Jessica Landry. Pallbearers will be Jessie Bourque, Adam Dillon-Bourque, Dutil Duke Landry, Eric Bourque, Dennis Gemmer and Bobby Maturin.
