Youngsville- Memorial Services will be held for Ellis Wayne Broussard, Sr., 56, on Wednesday September 11, 2013 at 10:00AM at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. The family will begin receiving friends and visitors at 9:00AM until just prior to service time at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the Memorial Service at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Broussard, LA . Mr. Broussard was born in Lafayette, LA and grew up in Broussard. He was employed by Elks Concrete as a Machine Operator and was also a longtime resident of Youngsville. Ellis passed away on Saturday September 7, 2013 at his home in Youngsville and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Lawanna Barton Broussard of Youngsville, LA; four children, Ellis Wayne Broussard, Jr. and his wife, Veronica of Erath, LA, Maveline B. Hebert and her husband Kenny of Vermilion Parish, Casey Wayne Broussard of Iberia Parish, LA and Christopher Len Broussard of Youngsville, LA; five brothers, Dallas Broussard, Sr. and his wife Annie Lee of Broussard, LA, Paul J. Broussard and his wife Eula Lee also of Broussard, LA, Carroll Broussard and his wife Betty of Maurice, LA, Harold Charles Broussard and his wife Brenda also of Maurice, LA, Eldes Charles Broussard, Jr. and his wife Diane of Youngsville, LA; four sisters, Mary B. Mouton and her husband Mike of Lafayette, LA, Mildred B. Seaux and her husband Darrell of Lafayette, LA, Gayle B. Hayes and her husband Larry of Broussard, LA and Barbara B. Romero and her husband David of Youngsville, LA and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents, Eldes Charles Broussard, Sr. and Maveline Romero Broussard and three brothers, Darrell C.
