Abbeville " A Memorial Service honoring the life of William Neal Pugh, 64, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Rev. Christopher Barnhardt officiating. The family will begin gathering on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 1:00PM. Interment will be held at a later date. A native of Bluff Point, VA and a resident of Abbeville Mr. Pugh died at 9:30AM on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He was employed at Gulf Coast Marine Fabricators for over 20 Years. He was known for his enjoyment of fishing, camping, gardening, and his dog Paco. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Jenkins Pugh of Abbeville; a son, Jason Scott Pugh and his wife Christina of Kaplan; a daughter, Mary Gaspard and her husband Deussard of Forked Island; two brothers, Roy Pugh of Gulf Breeze, FL and Donnie Pugh of Holly Beach, LA; a sister, Linda Jenkins of Gulf Breeze, FL; and six grandchildren, Trevor Gaspard and his fiance Sara, Zackery Gaspard, Tanner Pugh, Tanner Clark, Tyler Clark, and Kennon Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Louise Bussels Pugh; a brother, Larry Pugh; and infant grandson, Kyle Gaspard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bill Miller, Earl Mitchell, Sam Mitchell, and Tommy Lee Poage. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Patriot Paws Service Dogs at 254 Ranch Trail in Rockwell, TX 75032.
