Ulyless James Verret

Mr. Verret was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and a Commercial Fisherman for 35 years. He fished crab, shrimp, fish, and even did a bit of trapping during the off season. When he wasnt fishing he was tending to his two acre vegetable garden. Baby , a nickname given to him by his family, was an extremely hard worker, and would never stop from sun up to sun down. Mr. Verret passed away on Friday August 2, 2013 at 8:20pm at Maison Teche Nursing Home.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, Dr. Bourgeois and his staff, and the staff at Maison Teche for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Verrets honor to Heart of Hospice.
