Rita Baltruks Kasperski

August 9, 1925 — August 11, 2013

Abbeville - Funeral Services for Rita B. Kasperski, 88, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Deacon Matthew Barzare officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville.

Mrs. Kasperski was a native of Riga, Latvia and a resident of Abbeville, LA. passed away on Sunday August 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her two daughters Helena Mouton of Erath, and Elizabeth Liz and her husband Tony Black of Abbeville; three son Stanislaus Stan and his wife Kathy Kasperski Sr. of Erath, Robert and his wife Debra Kasperski of Erath, and Henrik and his wife Maxine Kasperski of Erath; one half brother Karlis Baltruks of Kokneves Novads, Latvia; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franciszek Kasperski, and her parents Andrejs and Olga Dreier Baltruks.

Pallbearers will be Cody, Kyle and Kurt Morvant, Brady Mouton, Stan Kasperski Jr., and Scotty Kasperski.
