James "J. C." Lange

A lifelong resident of Henry, Mr. Lange passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at a local hospital. He owned and operated J.C.s Automotive and Marine Service in Henry for 27 years before retiring in 1997. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cora Sue Lee Lange; three daughters, Mary LeBlanc and her husband Timmy, Theresa Merrill and her husband Carl, and Jessie Broussard and her husband Keith; three sons, Luke Lange and his wife Donna, Sid Lange and his wife Monique and Kim Lange and his wife Renee; five sisters Delores Tipper and Francis Primeaux of Erath, Wilma Mae Corner of Abbeville, Gloria Mae of New Iberia, and Hazel Broussard of Henry; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Henrietta Richard Lange; five brothers, Nelson, Sr. Lou Lou , Preston Butch , Howard, Lester, and Minos Red Lange; one sister , Audrey Ann Lange Champagne; two sons, Jed Anthony and Jay Paul Lange.

Serving as pallbearers are his grandsons, Jed Lange, Justin Broussard, Jesse` Lange, Tyler Broussard, Jarrod Lange and Ray Lange. Serving as honorary pallbearer is James Craig LeBlanc.
