A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Pearl Belaire LeBlanc, wife of Joseph Paul LeBlanc, 93, will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 9:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A lifelong resident of Erath, Mrs. Pearl died at 1:15AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Her and her husband owned J. Paul Leblanc Grocery store in Erath for many years. She was a charter member of the Ladies Alter Society, Demitasse Club and the 12 & Go Club. Mrs. Pearl was known for her wonderful cooking and her love to travel. She is survived by two sons, Michael P. LeBlanc and his wife Tina of Erath and Randall Leblanc and his wife Genie of Luling; a daughter, Heddy LeBlanc Nunez and her husband Philip of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Chad LeBlanc, Shawn LeBlanc, Shamane LeBlanc Griffith, Samuel LeBlanc, Joshua LeBlanc, Virginia Bertrand, Charisse Campbell, and Lance Nunez; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul Pichot LeBlanc; and her parents, Whitney J. Belaire and Marie Mercedes Primeaux Belaire. Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn LeBlanc, Lance Nunez, Chad LeBlanc, Samuel LeBlanc, Jason Campbell, and Hubert Trahan. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Jeffery Domingues and Carlin Trahan. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
