Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Willis Pierre Trahan the former Lucille Maw Maw David, age 83, on Thursday October 3, 2013 at 10:00am at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Cody Miller officiating.Visitation will begin on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 1:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will then continue Thursday October 3, 2013 at 8:00am until time of service. A resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Trahan passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 4:10pm in a local hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Trahan Broussard and her husband Paul Ned, Mona Groetsch and her husband Richard, Vivian Dugas, Zelma Jackson and her husband Cecil, Gail Choplin and her husband Sidney, Pam Trahan, Darlene Caron and her husband Art; one son, David Trahan and his wife Laurie; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Willis Pierre Trahan; her parents Aymar David and Zumae Maihles David and her only brother Wesley David. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy.
