Lee S. Lavergne

New Iberia- In keeping with Mr. Lee Lavergnes wishes, a Memorial Service for Mr. Lee, age 78, will be held on Monday October 14, 2013 at 2:00pm at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter to serve as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Monday October 14, 2013 at 9:00am with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00am.

A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Lee passed away on Thursday October 10, 2013 at 10:45am at Iberia Medical Center. Mr. Lee worked for Cleco and Atmos Energy, and retired after 43 years of service.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Beverly Miguez Lavergne of New Iberia; daughter, Phyllis Bazer of Lafayette; son, Dwayne Lavergne of Breaux Bridge; two grandchildren, Rene and Michael Bazer both of Lafayette; sister, Trudie Hamilton of Dallas, TX; and nephew, Trent Hamilton of Dallas, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Hazel Pitre Lavergne.
