Abbeville- Funeral Services for Jerry Grogan, 67, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Mt. Triumph Baptist. Visitation will be held at Mt Triumph Baptist Church on October 4, 2013 from 9:00AM until time of service October 4, 2013. Interment will follow at Mt. Triumph Baptist Cemetery. A native and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Grogan died Tuesday October 1, 2013 at her residence in Abbeville. Mrs. Grogan was a loving mother and grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a wonderful Nana to her babies, who loved babysitting, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son Orlando and his wife Annette Mitchell of Lafayette; two brothers Ray and his wife Elizabeth Grogan of Lafayette, and Frank Grogan of Abbeville; four sisters Rita Keys of Plano Tx., Dorothy Grogan, Belinda and her husband Carlton Campbell, and Elaine Vallot all of Abbeville; a grandson Fabion, whom she raised, and his wife Chenille Mitchell, two granddaughters Faron and Cameron Mitchell; great grandchildren Amyah, Jackson, and LaNiyah. She will also be remembered by her spiritual sister and best friend Sis. Pat Plowden, of Abbeville, and her godchild Adrienne Keys of Plano Tx. Mrs. Grogan, was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Beatrice Boudreaux Grogan. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
