Funeral services will be held for Eloise Ray Christian, 91, on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 3:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Meche officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 31, 2013, from 10:00 AM until the service time. A native of Odessa, Texas and a resident of Lafayette, Eloise passed away at AMG Specialty Hospital, on Monday, October 28, 2013. She was a self employed Interior Decorator and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Fincher; her son Roy Wayne and his wife Judy Christian; her grandchildren Lisa Caldwell, Michelle Fincher and her Fianc Kevin Richards, Roarke Christian and his wife Wanda; Stephanie Christian, and Andrea and her husband Tim LeBar and Michael E. Fincher, II and wife, Kelly; her great grandchildren Samantha and her husband Dale Wells, Michael W. Lane and his fiance Brittany, Karen Lane and her fiance Saul Dunckleman, and Christy Lane and her fianc Jade Bernard, Christian Filby, Daniel and Alexandria LeBar and Joshua and Sean Hancox; and her great great grandchildren Jaycee, Shyla, Mya Lane, Triston and Landon Lane, Blayce and Alexia Jones, Haylie Wells, Kai and Sailus Bernard and a nephew, Spanky Byrum. She was preceded in death by her husband R.W. Christian; parents, Jesse and Lillian Wickson Hackworth and her son-in-law, Mike E. Fincher. Pallbearers will be Jade Bernard, Tim LeBar, Kevins Richards, Saul Dunckleman, Dale Wells, Roarke Christian; honorary pallbearers will be Michael W. Lane and Lisa Caldwell.
