New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Allen Dave Medicine Man Babineaux on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 4:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jerry Mesley officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 9:00 AM until services. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Babineaux passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at 2:05 AM in New Iberia. He delivered medicine for Ackals Pharmacy. He enjoyed spending time with his animals and collecting model cars. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Stansbury Babineaux of New Iberia; his step-son, Shane Myers of New Iberia; his step-granddaughters, Courtney Myers, Amber Marie Myers both of New Iberia, Shiania Myers of Lafayette and Cheyanne Myers of Plaquemine; his step-grandson, Blaze Myers of Plaquemine; his brothers, Danny Babineaux, Sr. and his wife Charmaine and Eddie Babineaux, Sr. and his wife Joann all of New Iberia; his godchild, Crystal Landry and her husband Frank of Broussard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie S. and Hilda Marie Babin Babineaux. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. (337) 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
