Lydia " Funeral services will be conducted for Chris Joseph B-Lou LaBiche, 58, on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Gregory Chauvin officiating. Visitation will held at David Funeral Home on Sunday, November 3, 2013, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home by Deacon Theo Landry on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at 6:00 PM. A native of New Iberia and a resident of Lydia, Mr. LaBiche passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 1:39 PM in a New Iberia hospital. He was a self taught finish carpenter. He was a multi talented person in many trades. In his younger days he enjoyed baseball and played in the Pony League Baseball, High School Baseball and American Legion Baseball and also played football at NISH. He was an avid LSU and Saints Football fan. He is survived by his wife, Donna DeVillier LaBiche of Lydia; his mother, Annie Lee Judice LaBiche Bourgeois of Lydia; his sisters, Dolly LaBiche Guidry and her husband Andrew and Mildred LaBiche Adams and her husband Malcolm; his brothers, Milton A. LaBiche and his wife Rita, James A. LaBiche and his wife Shirley and Richard A. LaBiche and his wife Dynel all of Lydia; his brother-in-law, Paul W. DeVillier of Tampa, FL; his sister-in-law, JoAnne D. Friesen and her husband George of Midland, TX,; his nieces, Dana F. Gonzales and her husband Mark of College Station, TX and Kayla Friesen of Dallas, TX; his great nephew, Braden Paul Gonzales of College Station, TX; his aunts, Theresa Collins of New Iberia and Nelda Martin of Morgan City; his uncle, Whitney LaBiche of Lydia and his Special Pets, DBTU & Muffin. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Bill LaBiche; his sister, Patricia LaBiche and his mother-in-law, Sylvia Delahoussaye DeVillier. Pallbearers will be Bret Adams, Brycen Hammon, Ryan LaBiche, Andrew Guidry, Jeff Jolet and Adam LaBiche. Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Toot LaBiche, Jill Hammon, Melanie Hammon, Amanda Hammon Shea, Alex Adams, Andre Adams, Brent LaBiche, Michael LaBiche, Simone Sherman, Rachel Boudreaux, Shannon LaBiche, Malcolm Adams and their extended family and Sheriff Louis Ackal.
