Nary Joseph Lopez

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Nary Joseph Lopez, 81, on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 10:30 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 3, 2013, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Youngsville, Mr. Lopez passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 8:10 PM in a Lafayette hospital. He was a retired Engineer with the Louisiana Department of Transportation. He retired from the Louisiana National Guard. He was an avid Horse Racing Fan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Comeaux Lopez of Youngsville; his daughter, Deanne Beslin and her husband Joey; his grandchild, Brook Beslin Chiasson and his great grandchildren, Remi and Riley Chiasson all of Stafford, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Lopez and Lucy Delahoussaye Lopez. Pallbearers will be Joey Beslin, Zack Reaux, Brud Romero, Ricky lopez, Purvis LeBlanc and Keith Baudoin.
