In retirement, Ms. Hebert enjoyed playing bouree with her many friends and family, and could be seen outside working in her yard almost daily. Ms. Hebert also took a tremendous amount of pride in supporting her two Sons during their service to our Country, with multiple deployments to Iraq, proudly participating in Family Readiness Groups in Abbeville and Lafayette. She also enjoyed attending softball, baseball, and basketball games, soccer matches, band concerts, and anything that any of her two boys or her grandchildren participated in, and was always their biggest fan. She is survived by her two sons, Damon Hebert of Erath, and Jason Hebert and his wife Shontelle, of Erath; a sister, Joyce Romero and her spouse Ronnie Girouard of Erath; a brother, Wiley Romero and his wife Anna Lou Romero, of Erath; a sister in law Irene Faulk Romero, of Meaux; and five beautiful grandchildren, Saul Hebert, Spence Hebert, Ethan Goutierrez, Kaius Hebert, and Gabriella Hebert, all of Erath. Ms. Hebert was preceded in death by her Father, Etienne Romero, of Erath; her Mother, Theola Moore Romero, of Erath; and two brothers, Ludren Romero and Allen Romero, both of Erath. Lectors will be her Daughter-in-Law Shontelle Hebert, and longtime friend and neighbor, Stacey Brown Roy.
