Youngsville-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the St. Anne Catholic Church for Joseph Walter Hebert, Jr., 81, who died Monday, March 31, 2014 at 5:39AM at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Center. Father Bill Melancon will officiate the mass. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 8:30AM until time of service. A recitation of the Rosary will be Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 7:00PM. Burial will follow in the St. Anne Catholic Mausoleum. Mr. Hebert was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Mayfair Industry for over 30 years. He is survived by one sister, Beulah Hebert of Lafayette, one niece, Velma Broussard of Youngsville, four nephews, Ronnie Savoy, Robert Savoy and Ray Savoy, all of Youngsville, and Gerald Savoy of Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nomie Bourque Hebert, one sister Nora Hebert Savoy, two half-brothers Theard Hebert and Althe Hebert and one half-sister Anna Hebert.
