YoungsvilleGraveside funeral service will be conducted for Mrs. Jerome Comeaux, the former Donna Carter, age 69, on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M., at St. Anne Mausoleum in Youngsville, LA; with Reverend David Denton of Highland Baptist Church officiating. A native of Liberty, TX and a lifelong residence of Franklin, LA, Donna Lou loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved cooking, arts and crafts, and treasury hunting for that special antique. Most of all Donna spent the last 50 years with the love of her life Jerome raising their children and grandchildren. Donna had a special love for her best four legged pal Jolie. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Jerome Comeaux; sons Troy Comeaux and wife Melanie and Richard Comeaux and wife Tammy both of Youngsville, LA; brothers, Don Carter and wife Connie, Thurman Carter Jr. and wife Shirley both of New Iberia, LA and John Carter and wife Amber of Alexandria, LA; sisters, Pamela Beasley and husband Roy of Toledo Bend, LA, and Sarah Simonson and husband Joe of Coquille, OR; grandsons, Tyler Comeaux, Taylor Martin; granddaughters, Brittany Comeaux and Allison Comeaux; great grandson, Kason Comeaux and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Sr. and Annie L Krebs Comeaux. Family and Friends are welcome to sign the register book and/ or express condolences at www.davidfuneralhome.org.
