JeaneretteA memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM for Mr. Kenneth Charles Domingues, age 73, at David Funeral Home of New Iberia, LA with Fr. Gregory Chauvin officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM until the time of service. Kenneth was born in Patouville, LA and was a lifelong resident of New Iberia. Mr. Kenneth served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and achieved the rank of SPEC 4. After his discharge, Kenneth worked in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years and most recently for Seacor serving as a cook for the company. Kenneth was married to the love of his life Ella Belaire Domingues for 53 years. Kenneth enjoyed playing video games and working out in his yard cutting grass. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 53 years Ella Belaire Domingues and his son Keith A. Domingues of New Iberia; step-brothers, Larry Degeyter of St. Martinville, Roy "Botch" Degeyter Jr., David Degeyter both of Loreauville, Dr. Roland Degeyter of Franklin, and Michael Degeyter of New Iberia; step-sisters, Rosalee Degeyter of Mississippi and Delores Jordan of New Iberia; grandsons, Kolston Domingues and Taylor Clark and granddaughter, Talyn Domingues. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Domingues and Viola Hebert Degeyter, Roy Degeyter Sr. and numerous aunts and uncles.
