New Iberia - Funeral services will be held for Doris "Dot" Migues Forster Boudreaux, 84, on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. The readings for the funeral mass will be proclaimed by Chris Myers and Elina East and the Gift Bearers will be her god children, Glen Migues and Brenda Lopez. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery with Military Honors by the Women Veterans of Louisiana and the U. S. Navy Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM. A native of Jefferson Island and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Boudreaux died on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 5:20 PM at her residence. She was the Assistant Vice President at State National Bank, now known as Chase Bank where she retired after 35 years of employment. Among her duties she supervised for many years the bank tellers at the bank. She was a lifetime parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Parish Council President and Chairman of the Church Bazar and along with her husband, J.P., who worked in the concession stand. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Knights of Columbus council 3425. She volunteered at St. Francis Diner and worked with their Garage Sale. She served in the U.S. Navy. She enjoyed watching sports with her husband especially baseball and football. She enjoyed playing sports in her younger years. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Paula Lalumandier Forster of New Iberia; her brother, Teddy Migues and his wife Carolyn of Brevard, North Carolina; her sisters-in-law, Zita R. Migues of Delcambre and Irene "Joyce" Lancon of New Iberia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her loving dogs, Little Red and Ellie. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Forster, Jr.; her husband, Joseph "J.P." Boudreaux; her father, Bertrand Migues; her mother, Lula David Migues; her sisters, Sue Meyers and Edel "Sis" Lopez; her brothers, Rufus Migues, J. C. Migues and Mayo Migues and her first husband, Raymond Forster, Sr.. Pallbearers will be Teddy Migues, Jan Lalumandier, Marshall Lopez, Ben Lopez, Jonathan Lopez and Claude Hebert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glen Migues, J. C. Migues, Terry Migues, Vicki Migues, Julie Lopez, Brenda Lopez, Chris Myers, Sue Hernandez and Roland Simon.
